Basic application workflows
This section will guide application developers with essential workflows that need to be implemented for different categories of applications.
Doctor application:
Healthcare application for all professionals working in a healthcare setup. The application may be targeted towards an inpatient, outpatient and telemedicine setting. The basic work flows include two broad functional ‘spaces’
Patient space
- View & update patient demographics
- View past visit details - folder and data
- Create consent request to view patient data present at another healthcare provider
- View data shared by another healthcare provider
- Create a Care context for current visit Howto
- Record of health data, clinical notes & orders
User space
- Create patient with basic or advanced demographics inputs Howto
- Search patient using IDs or attributes such as name, mobile number etc.
- Update profile information of self
- Create Access credentials for other professionals in the organization
- Manage departments in organization
- View reports on patients - visits, demographics, clinical data
- Create workflows - appointments, tasks for professionals within organization and outside organization.
- Use notifications to maneg workflows
- Create Notes and share with professionals in organization
Personal health record (PHR)
A person's interface to their health recoirds. Used by patients to add wellness data and assimilate their health information generated by all healthcare providers to create a longitudinal record. Allows generation & grant of consent for data sharing as per NDHM defined interfaces.
Patient Space
- Discover healthcare providers where data is stored and link them
- Pull data and store in PHR
- Group & manage clinical data into care contexts such as diabetes, orthopedic
- Creation of health data - self assessment, device data, exercise etc.,
- View trend reports
User Space
- Update profile information of self
- Create access to family/care takers
- Provide feedback to healthcare providers
- View and update Consent requests
- Grant consent
- See requests from Insurance company (patient companion app for Insurance Health and Wellness)
- See opportunities to share data for research (patient companion app for Clinical Research and Analysis)

Insurance Application
Insurance applications can be broadly classified under two heads - claim processing and health & wellness services.
EHR.Network is ideally positioned to support health & wellness aplications. These applications will be used by the preventive care team members in Insurance company to maintain wellness of their policy holders and reduce claims.
Patient Space
